Educational Potential of English Textbooks for High School

The article deals with the actualization of educational (upbringing) potential English textbooks used in senior grades high school. In process teaching a foreign language, teacher can also influence development material, spiritual, professional, and life values of children through correct setting learning goals as well selection content materials. They should be informative, rely on knowledge experience students cause certain emotional experiences. This means that upbringing concept, which is enshrined federal law “On Education Russian Federation” Federal State Educational Standard implemented various subjects, including subject “Foreign language”, comes to fore. view this fact author considers approaches education while language analyses way concept realized one for schools.
